Using Chrome my laptop restarts

Post by kido »

I installed Google Chrome and when I open 2 tabs my computer freeze than restarts. I thought that it's because of ram, but I tried will Firefox and I opened 7 tabs with Firefox, 3 IDE for development and the computer works fine and still fast.

Can someone tell me what could be the problem?

Please post the output of this terminal command:

Code: Select all

inxi -Fxz

I looked a lot online for the same error and I didn't find anyone saying that he got in the same problem. Someone, for a different error, put an answer to use:

Code: Select all

sudo apt-get update
so I tried, even I didn't have that error from that post, and now Chrome is working fine. It doesn't crush anymore when I open more then 2 tabs.

I thought wrong that will work. Still the same problem. Worked fine with plain tabs, but if I open diff websites still will freeze the computer and restarts by itself :(.
