qtrans is an offline dictionary which uses Babylon dictionaries.
ding a dictionary lookup program

Search for golden-dict with Synaptic and the relevant dict and freedict languages

German - English Dictionary 1.8.1 from dict.tu-chemnitz.de is quite extensive

Sorry, the search in Synaptic has to be dict - then pretty much everything will be listed in the sources ...
