Conky Installation Problem

I tried to install Conky but I am having problems. I did numerous installs from the Software Manager, apt-get command line to attempting an install from Erik Dubois videos. Conky will install but does not show on the menu & I cannot find any traces of the files. Any ideas?

Besides the Conky problem, Linux Mint 19 is running great on my desktop & my wife's laptop.

Mint 19 has issues with conky and many other programs. That's why I keep running 18.3. The latest isn't always better - understand that finally.

Thanks for the quick reply. You are correct "The latest isn't always better". I have run Linux since 2002 and have seen many things. Every problem has a solution. I am using Mint in my home office. It has been the most stable program right out of the box. Conky would be nice but the world has not ended. I am totally satisfied with Mint 19 & LibreOffice. Thanks for the help.

There is nothing wrong with conky in Mint 19 - it works just fine.
