Terrible slow response to mouse clicks
I am using Firefox on Linux Mint 19. At first, everything seems fine and gradually the response to a mouse click takes so long that I click again, then end up with a window opening twice, or whatever. Moving the pointer over a link does nothing unless you wait a long time. Etc. Unusable-can't be the way the guys who wrote it intended. They'd never have gotten the work finished if they had to use my computer (btw, about 4 year old HP desktop with core i5) . I think Chromium has the same problem.

Re: Terrible slow response to mouse clicks
Replying to my own post. I installed Chrome in addition to Firefox and Chromium. Chrome works just fine. I have not gone back to Firefox and Chromium to check as I was very happy to be rid of the issue. In addition, I have stopped using Gmail in the browser and started using Thunderbird. I'll post more when/if I find more info.
