Downgrade KDE Plasma-Desktop to 5.5

Post by aknisly »

I've been gratefully using LM KDE for a good number of years, but when I installed 18.3 KDE on a new computer last year, I ended up with a number of issues related to my tweaks. I'm down to one now: I run xmonad as my window manager, and plasmashell doesn't play nicely with it. I end up killing it because it can't figure out where to position itself. Based on a friend's installation, I'm reasonably certain that this problem was introduced in 5.8.x, and I'd like to downgrade my plasma-desktop package to 5.5.x. Any help for me?

Thank you much.
