What linux? What XAMPP? What instructions? What error messages?

Hello
I use XAMPP for web development on Linux Mint 19 Cinnamon without any trouble. It is a great tool.
Did you follow the installation instructions ? See How do I install XAMPP? here : https://www.apachefriends.org/faq_linux.html
