I have been struggling to find the right tutorial to get my laptop set up as media server so my Smart TV can see it on the "Source" selection. I have a Synology NAS (DS212+) that my tv sees the media server without issue. However, I am trying to get my linux machine set up in a way that my TV will see it over the home network. Are there any correct software solutions to tackle this issue?
