SOLVED [waterfox] change colors ONLY for links on specific sites

I'm running Mint 17, using Waterfox with DuckDuckGo as default search engine.

The colors of links to visited vs unvisited sites are too similar for my eyes. If I set new colors to override them, the appearance of websites themselves also changes, sometimes unacceptably. (try it with this one!)

Additionally some sites use font (faint ) or background colors that make them difficult to read.

How can I:
1. Change only the default color of visited links displayed by search engines?
2. Change only the fonts & colors on an individual page while viewing it - without going to preferences and changing global settings?

You could change this in DDG settings, on the Appearance tab: https://duckduckgo.com/settings

Thanks xenopeek, I hadn't found that settings menu. The color change for visited links works beautifully. I now realize the view menu includes a 'reader view' option which solves the other pert of my query so I'll mark it SOLVED.

Well the color change for visited sites only persists in the current session. When I reopen the browser, the colors have reverted to the original defaults. I'm running on a Lenovo T410 that used to have Windows 7 (now wiped). I don't know if the behaviour is due to the machine or to Waterfox. - ??

Is your browser set to delete cookies when exited? If so, you need to whitelist DDG's cookies.

Thanks Schultz; I'm still working on that. Busy this evening so it may not get finished today. (Edit) seems to be working now but I won't know for sure till I shut down & reboot.
