on-screen keyboard crashes

Post by WiltshireJon » Tue Nov 13, 2018 4:03 pm

Asus zenbook flip (2 in 1 laptop), mint 18.3. Works beautifully, in laptop mode using the hardware keyboard. Recently the on-screen keyboard started to cause Cinnamon to crash, whether it's in laptop mode or tablet mode. Looking for reasons why (presumably an update but I don't know how to find out which. Thanks.

Re: on-screen keyboard crashes

I should add, it doesn't crash when I open the on-screen keyboard, only when you try to type something...anything. Alt-F2 R restores function (without the on screen keyboard)
