Hi- I am on Mint 19. Thunderbird has recently started hammering the CPU- will randomly go up to 150% for several minutes.
I have followed advice here https://rainbow.chard.org/2013/02/19/th ... -high-cpu/ and also stopped global indexing as suggested elsewhere. I empty trash resgularly and Compact the files too but no joy. I am not using any addons.
Any ideas how I can get this resolved?
