help installing a printer brother MFC-L2700DW

Hi,
I tried to install the printer in my laptop following the instructions that i found in several places and couldn't do it.
Could u please, give me a hand?
this is my machine:

This *very* helpful tutorial helped me install my Brother printer.

Use it in addition to the instructions on the Brother website. I found both necessary.
I'm no expert...beyond recommending the resource, I am of little help.
