Gmail search Enter key not working

Hi all.

I have a problem with the search function in Gmail.
When I write some text in the search bar and press Enter, nothing happens. It doesn't recognize the Enter key. It happens in Firefox and Google Chrome.
I have to click with the mouse on the magnifying glass icon for the search to be done.
With Chromium it doesn't happen.

Any help to solve this issue? I'm on Linux Mint 17 Cinnamon.

I am having the same issue. Whatsapp Web client also has the same problem.
