WPS can't start

Hi to all, I'm new on Linux after 25 years in Windows.
I'm setting up my distro LINUX 19.1 Cinnamon with some software but I have problem with WPS.
I downloaded the 64bit DEB file from the official website, used GDEBI for the installation (all the dependencies are satisfied).
The installation finish without any problem but when I start WPS, example writer, it appears for a while and close. Try to reopen, nothing happens. Same for Presentation and Spreadsheets.
But I install the previous version of 2017, everything going fine, I can work on it.
Any suggest can help?

Hi Scafazio70, and welcome to the forum.

I'll mention this that I saw on one of the pages leading to the downloads:

Notes: Because of the renaming, you first need to do uninstallation if you've installed old versions.

If you had the 2017 version at the time, maybe that is why the new one is failing? Or maybe your system is 32-bit instead of 64-bit? I don't know the software myself, so can't offer anything further.

First thank for reply.
I have clean installation of LINUX 19.1 Cinnamom 64bit, so I installed the last version of WPS 64Bit.
After the problem found, I uninstalled it and tried the WPS 32Bit, same result.
Uninstalled then go on previous WPS 2017 version and everything going well.
So honestly I don't know

Same for me.

Maybe others here on the Mint forum will have some ideas, otherwise I would suggest asking on http://wps-community.org/forum/ in case others there have had this experience.

I tried on a live of Mint Cinnamon and....working......this is so strange.....maybe I try to reinstall the distro and see

if you don't get any output in terminal for typing wps then there's not much of a trace to follow. maybe something to do with the themes again? try switching themes to a Mint-Y theme for the desktop
