Running Mint 19.1 Mate. Has been running great for the past 2 weeks. This morning I rebooted the machine and got the following error: "The panel encountered a problem while loading "MintMenuAppletFactory:MintMenuApplet"". Now I have no way to get to the menu. I've rebooted several times with no improvement. I've seen suggestions to create a new user and log in as the new user but don't know how to do this without the menu. Can anyone provide some guidance on how to create a new user without the menu or how to fix the base problem?
Thanks in advance.
Loaded a fresh install and copied over my folders.
