Re: VLC 1.0 Goldeneye is out
Is this going to be included in the repositories so that one can update it via the normal Mint updater? I am also waiting for the latest VBox (3.0) and Firefox 3.5
Re: VLC 1.0 Goldeneye is out
If you follow the link I posted you will see it's really easy to add the VLC repository. Then you can install it just like anything else available in Mint.
Re: VLC 1.0 Goldeneye is out
I have the new VLC 1.0.0 packages installed on my system, (using Mint 7 KDE CE RC) and it is a huge improvement. I highly recommend using the new version.
Re: VLC 1.0 Goldeneye is out
I used the VLC nightlies for several months before 1.0 came out. It was quite solid for a good while before it was released. Nice improvements too.
