Password Policy in LM19.1

Post by barneyblogggs »

Hi All,
Is there a way to prevent the reuse of the previous x number of passwords in LM19.1
Ive set the minimum length using minlen=N by adding it to /etc/pam.d/common-password
I now want to prevent the use of the previous, lets say 10, passwords if there is a way.

Regards,

About two-thirds of the way down the page it describes the use of the remember=n parameter in /etc/pam.d/common-password
