I've been seeing the above yellow message on the screen when I try to visit a webpage. What can I do to get rid of it or how can I identify this strange webpage? My machine's OS is Linux Mint 18.2 Sonya. Thanks very much.

Does it happen on a page without heavy Javascript, like this forum or Wikipedia?
If so, you may need to install a Javascript blocker as your computer isn't handling heavy Javascript well.
If not, try updating Firefox.

I got the same thing a couple of times about two or three months ago.

It hasn't happened again and I don't know what the cause could have been since I had the same tabs open as I usually do :?

As advised just keep-up with the firefox updates.

jchelpau and WharfRat,

Thanks very much for your advice. It seems to pop up when I visit websites such as gmail.google.com, reuters.com, bbc.com, and scmp.com. So far it hasn't interfered with my visits to this website. I'll update Firefox and see.

I get that now and then. It's usually caused by a site that is heavy on the scripts and sucks up a lot of your memory and CPU.
