Disks (Partition Manager) - free/used space not shown

Post by palimmo »

Hi.

Why in the software Disks (Partition Manager) the used and free space of a partition is not displayed?
This is an important feature, present o.g. in gparted or KDE partition manager.
Thank you.

Thanks for your reply.
I was wondering if this could be a bug, since this feature is a standard one in other similar softwares.

As far as I see Disks is actually is gnome-disks.

I do not find here any complain, though.. How could it be?

Maybe I'm misunderstanding the problem here but the software "Disks" does actually show how much of a partition is used/free, both in Gigabyte and in percentage terms. It also shows this graphically by shading of the coloured bars. However, it only does so for partitions which are mounted.
