Nvidia Geforce Experience won't open after removing LinuxMint as dual-boot

Post by GuardianAbraxas »

Greetings,

TLDR:
Sometime ago I installed LinuxMint alongside Windows 10 as a dual-boot because I wanted to test something. There were some hiccups in LinuxMint with the drivers but I managed to solve them. After I was finished, I safely uninstalled Mint, erased the partition for the LinuxMint and returned back to Windows. The Nvidia Geforce Experience isn't working now and gives the Error 0x0001.

I have:
- Tried to solve it using device manager (by trying to update drivers)
- Tried to solve it from windows services (after watching some videos)
- Tried to solve it by completely reinstalling the drivers.

Still, the issue persists. I hope someone here is able to help me.

Regards,
Guardian Abraxas

Download and install DDU

DDU is the best way to completely remove graphics drivers, especially before installing a new driver with Win 10
