I was just wondering if anyone knows what happened to the forum. gimpforums.com page is still up , but I keep getting 404 error.

I used the Gimp forum only once about 2 to 3 years ago. I just checked and the Gimp forum and it's up and running. http://gimpforums.com/

Yes, but as gatorade said, if you try to connect to any sub-forum from the main page you get...

O.K. Now I see what the original poster is talking about. Looks like the sub forums have vanished.

As the latest message was today and the previous one 18 June, something recent would appear to have happened. Or you need to be registered?

I'm registered member, it allowed me to log in, but still couldn't get any further.

If you need help with Gimp you may want to try asking on https://www.linuxquestions.org/ since the Gimp site is down.
