LM 19.2 removed Bitwig Studio

Post by folium » Wed Aug 14, 2019 9:45 am

Linux Mint 19.2 removed a folder for Bitwig Studio 1.3 from /opt/bitwig-studio.
In fact the whole /opt is gone. Is this something that is supposed to happen?

This must've happened during some update. I don't know how to check which update might've been the culprit, but I noticed that in my Timeshift snapshots the folder is missing since yesterday.

I got Bitwig to work again by copying the /opt/bitwig-studio folder back into /, but it was removed shortly after doing so.

I've installed Bitwig with a .deb file, not from the Software Manager.

Please ask if there's anything more I can tell about the situation. Thank you for helping!
