in past attments to change the updates mirror it didn't really worked

it is awfully slow in the default settings and not really working with other settings.
for example the default mint server is not really having a good speed for firefox.

i live in israel


what should i choose?

that link is bad .. it goes to an error.

what you can do, though, is to change to the Fastest Mirror, that is available for your location.
- - it's usually at the Top of the list, when you do re-sync, from Update Manager.
in the Mirror Tab, under Official Repositories .. click on each Mirror, in turn, select the fastest one.
- - then click on Update Cache, in the Top Right of that screen.
