Request to have Enpass password manager maintained in software repo

Post by RippieUK » Wed Oct 16, 2019 4:10 pm

Hi all,

Not sure what the process is actually but is it possible to get Enpass password manager maintained in the Linux Mind software repo?

Currently you have to add a new source and then install it.

https://www.enpass.io/support/kb/genera ... -on-linux/

Thx

Hm. Actually, it might be helpful to have a much better reason than that only you would like to see Enpass in the official software repositories. ;-)

The only things in the Mint repos really are Mint specific things. App software comes from the ubuntu repos in general, as is true for any Ubuntu based distro. And the devs of the software itself maintain it, not anyone at ubuntu or mint.

Besides, there are lots of password managers. Why wiould anyone want to use one that isn't already in the repos?
