Firefox Converting Text Area to Scrolled Box

Postby DavidS » Sun Aug 09, 2009 9:58 pm

If you go here and scroll down to the textual area about the item, you will see that the description of this item is converted to a scrolled box rather than a complete open textual box. When I go back on Windows, it is a large open text box with no scroll bar. Why is it this way in Mint?

I confess ignorance, I could only see text displays beside the image, when I choose Related Items and Services TAB

The image display of the Guitar is the same, except windows shows the image controls with the picture (image) if mouse focus is there..

I get the same display under Linux and windows XP
I used IE under virtualbox for winXP and Firefox in Linux mint7
--I only have that windows sitting there just in case, which is why it doesn't have any applications installed, except the windows defaults..

If I select Related Items and Services; I get a call-out display, which looks the same under either Linux or windows..
--text box (call out selection) with no scroll bar, as it is not needed for the window size display; it redisplays the item image and a small description, which is nothing more than the combination of the image + the text bedside the image

If it had been different, I would have said it is down to the application used, that is the browser selection; and the possible slight platform differences for those applications..
