XML TTML Plugin for Xplayer 2.25

Post by appalbarry »

I'm trying enable subtitles on a set of videos that I'm using.
The video is in *.flv
The subtitles are in an XML file
When I try to enable them in Xplayer it hunts for a plug-in, then says:

Media Player requires to install plugins to play media files of the following type: application/ttml+xml decoder

The Internet claims that "Timed Text Markup Language (TTML) is a standard for XML captions developed by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) in order to unify the increasingly divergent set of existing caption formats. " I'd expect that this would be supported?

Alternatively is there another media player that will handle this out of the box?
