I know this is elementary but have you tried more than one DVD? If not, it is prbably the DVD that is at fault.

Might be easier to install Xfburn and use that. Available in repo, so apt, Software Manager, or Package Manager.

I am running 19.3 XCFE and like so many, I cannot burn an ".mp3" to media (CD or DVD). K3B says we need the "MUD" extensions, but finding half of them is nearly impossible. Lame worked great. Then some "genius" decided to "update and improve" the ability to write ".mp3s".

If we have to go outside the repository to find the apps and libraries to make programs within the repository work, could you at least tell us where to find them ? Please do not say something like "They are on SourceForge," that is like saying Kansas is in the United States." True, but not helpful.

Could you please make this easier for those using this distro?

Same advice. K3b is a KDE app. Xfburn is an XFCE app. As you're running XFCE, makes a lot more sense to use Xfburn.

If you need more help than that, you should open your own thread.

K3b has problems even on a KDE installed DE lately, I would follow Pbear's advice use xfburn or another burner app. why is it you want to use k3b?

K3b works well on Cinnamon. Has more options than Xburn.
