How to check internal temperatures? SOLVED

Post by freshtamatic »

Is there an app for this? I'd like to see temperature displays at the very least CPU temps.
a GUI is preferred.
Running LM Mate

well first you need to run sudo sensors-detect answer the questions with Y and ENTER
when done close Terminal and open a new one run sensors
it will detect as many sensors as it can
you want a GUI ? most of these are abandoned or not working well i do not use psensor anymore all i need is sensors

for hard drive temperatures run
sudo hddtemp /dev/sd[a-e] <<< if you have more than one drive edit it to your liking
