[Resolved] Nemo not recognizing USB connection

Post by Myz »

Hiya Folks, Linux Mint 19.3 Cinnamon

This evening I plugged usb stick in usb slot, added some files and unmounted / ejected, all with out problem

Latter tonight I re mounted to add some more files, and the desktop and NEMO are not reading the usb connect.

It makes the sound of connection.
It is recognised by lsblk

I can even mount it via terminal
sudo mount /dev/sdc /mnt

and then go to mnt folder and there I can access?

Is there any fix to get the desktop to recognise and for Nemo to have it in its list?

any help would be appreciated.
regards
H

Thank you for reply @asinoro, but the whole thing fell over last night, to system fallback with minimal everything, then at reboot refused to reboot all together.
Have now deleted the distro and installed another. As I only had 2 and Mint would not work, at all?
Thank you for your time though.
