New Startup Applications Preferences

Post by Terryphi »

What are im-launcher and xapp-sn-launcher and what do they do? Can they be safely disabled?

im is input language manager, you don't need it unless you type in anything other than English UK. The second, not sure.

Thanks antikythera. Hopefully someone knows about xapp-sn-launcher.

Probably, I don't have that on LMDE4 to check what it is. the im-launcher one is common to both though. You could try disabling it, restart and see if anything you use stops working. If it does, simply enable it again.
