Code: Select all
sudo apt install python3-pip sudo pip3 install packaging
While opening it flashes for a moment a message stating something like Something went wrong, please check the logs (my locale is non-English) but then it proceeds searching for other computers, failing after a while. After this it just stays there stating no other computers can be found.
Nothing is written to /var/log. If not here, I don't know where warpinator logs should be.
But if I run any one of the computers from live media (checked on either both computers), warpinator works just fine, both computers see each other and share files as they should.
Both computers can ping each other and they have the same default Group Code (Warpinator) and firewall port (although firewalls are off for testing purposes).
Both computers are using Mint 20 Cinnamon, up to date and running the same version of Warpinator.
(basically these installations are clones made with fsarchiver, so the problem on one of them should be the same on the other one)
So this seems to be about computers publishing and advertising themselves on the network or being able to find other computers as if I run one of them from live media they find each other and then all works fine.
