Single Player Games
When I was using Debian I had several Single Player Games that I enjoyed. I have not been able to find the for Mint. I am not interested in having to load 7 other games to get the one I want.
Do these games exist for Mint:
AisleRot Solitaire
FreeCell Solitaire
Lagno
Mahjongg
Mines
Shisen-Sho

Re: Single Player Games
Hi Nathan, I just did quick search with Mint's Software Manager and found the above games. They all have a user rating of greater than 4, and being that Mint is Debian based you might be able to find versions of the other three games that are downloadable from other sources.

Been a while for me but search gnome-games in Synaptic. Or software manager, haven't used that in years.

kelevra,
Thanks, took a while but search did find the three you found.
Now to try to find the other three.

Re: Single Player Games
Sorry Nathan, I guess I could have been a little more clear with my suggestion.
I am glad you found the three games I mentioned.

Re: Single Player Games
Also in the repos. AisleRiot is the spelling though. You missed an i.
And Freecell is available from within AisleRiot. I don't know if there was a separate game.

Re: Single Player Games
If you like solitaire then perhaps you can't go past kpat or kpatience. kmahjongg is also very good. Aisleriot is very much 1970's era and really isn't pleasing to look at. The two that I've recommended are Qt based so they will pull in a few extra libraries, but that doesn't amount to humongous globs of used space.

Re: Single Player Games
Seems to me y'all are giving AisleRiot a bad rap. After the install of gnome-cards-data, you get ten additional deck themes to choose from. Just like a certain amount of memory, it should be enough for anybody!
Re: Single Player Games
Have 5 of them loaded on both my Mint computers. Still looking for Lango.
