Multiple Firefox Profile Shortcuts - with One Sandboxed

Post by kh2b1 »

I have three Firefox profiles with shortcuts to each on my desktop. I'm assuming I made them all correctly because they work. I want to create a fourth shortcut to the one specific profile, but I want to make it so it's sandboxed in Firejail.

Is this what I need to add to the shortcut command section (the Firefox profile is called Shopping)?
firejail firefox %u -P Shopping -no-remote --class ShoppingProfile

What does %u do?

The shortcut seems to work and it appears sandboxed, but I want to make sure it's definitely correct.

What does %u do?
It is an optional desktop entry key.
%u denotes a single URL or local file path.
For example, you can drag and drop the html file or URL shortcut on your Firefox launcher. Then Firefox opens that address or that HTML file
Without %u drag and drop action only opens Firefox itself.
