Firefox: Broken window title bar
Hi.
In the last weeks every time I start Firefox on LM 20 (Cinnamon) I get "half-maximised" with a broken window title bar.

Any ideas?
Everything is up to date on my machine.
Thanks!

Re: Firefox: Broken window title bar
2 more details:
- it happens always, after a new boot.
- it affects apparently only Firefox.

Re: Firefox: Broken window title bar
I have seen this behaviour occasionally , but it is not only in Firefox. Yesterday it happened using Xviewer. It happened in LM 20 and LM 20.1.
Version: LM 20.1 64bit Mate "If something is worth doing, it is worth doing for free."
Re: Firefox: Broken window title bar
Hopefully i don't experience that problem. I see on your reddit post that a Windows user is having the same problem so it must be a Firefox issue.
Re: Firefox: Broken window title bar
As Terryphi said, it occurs on Mint with other applications as well.
On my system exclusively with Firefox, so far.

Re: Firefox: Broken window title bar
I would say, that apparently now it is solved.
Probably thanks to any update.

Sorry, we have not seen that problem, so can't really comment on it.
Posting a picture of the problem so we don't have to rely on Redit.
Pic shows DDG window with desktop wallpaper showing through on 70% of it:

Re: Firefox: Broken window title bar
I'll do that asap.
Btw it is exactly the same you posted:
- Firefox title bar is maximised (as expected it should be)
- the most area of Firefox window is taken from the desktop background (or the other application window behind Firefox)

Re: Firefox: Broken window title bar
This is something that happens to me semi-regularly as well - I thought it was because I'm not running the default theme, and just lived with it, but if there is a way of fixing it, that would be great.
Re: Firefox: Broken window title bar
I encourage both Sally and Palimmo to post their system specs by typing this in a terminal:
Post the output in "Code" tags. The button that inserts these tags is marked </>
Then also start Driver Manager and report what graphic drivers are available. Here are mine:

Code: Select all
