Code: Select all

The following packages have unmet dependencies.
mint-meta-cinnamon : Depends: mint-meta-core but it is not going to be installed
E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages.
You turned it into a Frankenstein.

There's no telling if it is easily fixable or not. Sometimes it would be easier to just start from scratch as far as how much time it would take.

See if you can find the problem.

What is this saying: apt check

What does this show: apt held

Test each of the 3 different answers from this page to see if you can find an issue: https://askubuntu.com/questions/640986/ ... om-upgrade

dpkg -l | grep "^hi"
dpkg -l | grep --invert-match "^ii"
dpkg --get-selections | grep "\<hold$"
dpkg --get-selections | grep --invert-match "\<install$"
