Greetings,
I am looking for a Linux Mint software application that can perform the following DVD disk copy operation. I need the app to self launch when I open the DVD drive tray to put a disk on the tray followed by closing it. Upon closing it the software automatically directs the optical drive to copy all the data in the disk to a default target location I configured to it. In other words, I do not have to manually drag the files to the folder on my hard disk where I need the files copied to. Also when the data migration is done it prompts me with a message window that reads "Copy Complete".
Does such a software app exist for Linux Mint? And what name does it have? I would like to know where I could find such an app because I need to have this functionality. Lastly, can such an operation be performed using a script in the Terminal? Where could I find such a script? Thanks for your help.
