Thunderbird "null" appears in status line.

Post by mdavies5 »

Using V 78.7.1 in Mint 20.1 I have just noticed the word "null" appearing in the status line next to the WiFi icon. Also it does not appear to be checking my mail on startup. Previously the status line was filled with messages about "Checking mail.." etc and reporting if no mail was found.

Using V78.9.0 on LMDE, Thunderbird works as always. The status line reports attempts to download mail even if ther are no messages to download.

Both versions are setup to check for mail on startup and every 10 minutes on a pop3 server. I can still get my mail but the introduction of "null' on the status line puzzles me.
