I don't quite understand. How do you have Thunar Manager in Cinnamon? Cinammon uses Nemo, Thunar is used by XFCE.
In Cinnamon I was able to do it: I went to Menu/Keyboard/Shortcuts/Custom shortcuts and created it: Then I assigned Super+G Then Google Chrome launches perfectly.
Are you sure "google-chrome-stable" is installed in that directory? Try
