Kernel 5.8 > still this multisession's bug, or worse (?)

Post by Menard »

Hi

I am testing this kernel for 10 days and I had still this issue that i had since I am under Mint (18.1)

it is this :

When I am working in multisession (2) changing session then going back to the previous, made this last one to be broken, immediately or further
Then it consists in no reacting to the mouse click, windows do not appear
Then the only solution is to press ctrl+alt+delete and repeat it untill the shortcut appears and then press enter (before this I had to shutdown hard the system)

NB : it is not constant, it is not reproductible if we want to do it quickly
Maybe is this related to my old classic mouse (PS/2 port) (?)

Unlikely to be kernel-related. Do an in-place upgrade to Mint 20.1 and test again.
