Video downloader for Brave Browser ? (SOLVED)

So I switched from Firefox to Brave, but I need a trustworthy video download tool for YouTube.
If I go to extensions and click on webstore it takes me to the chrome-store which is all google.
Does anyone has a solution ?

Just use youtube-dl in terminal and stay away from extensions.

Go to the Software Manager and search for Video Downloader. I use it with Brave for YouTube Videos. It's less cumbersome than using the terminal and you can add it to the Panel for quick, easy access.

I must be an idiot. I cannot find anything in the Brave browser named "Software Manager". What am I missing? :roll:

Software Manager on Linux Mint, not in Brave browser. You know, that program you use to install new software on Linux Mint. Software Manager.

(UNsolved) Have no idea what you are referring to when you state "You know, that program you use to install new software on Linux Mint. Software Manager". NO I do not know. Have never installed anything on Linux Mint and do not know how to locate "Software Manager". Please be more specific.

The steps:
1. Open your menu
2. Click on Software Manager in the favorites or type "software manager" to find it (if your install isn't English, type "mintinstall")
