(SOLVED) LM 20.1 update manager problem

Post by michalq »

When I tried to push REFRESH at update manager I get these two error messages (see attached screenshots). Network is fully functional!!!
Screenshot from 2021-05-14 10-54-03.png
Screenshot from 2021-05-14 10-54-29.png

Code: Select all

sudp apt update
works without any problems!!!

Any idea how to solve this problem?

Non-official software sources / PPA's galore....

Disable them all, test again, and when success: re-enable each disabled source one by one with testing in between. This should pinpoint the culprit.

As I said before:

Code: Select all

sudo apt update
sudo apt upgrade
works well without any problems, so PPA's galore is not a case ...

Mine was saying APT installation is corrupted. I tried several things. This worked for me and my updater is back to normal

Code: Select all

sudo apt update
sudo apt upgrade

Thanks to michalq for the idea. Worked great

Or:
