Solved - PulseAudio / PulseEffects - Are Separate Modules Available?

Post by quartchug »

PulseEffects is a large program, with various modules that various people find useful. Is it possible to download and install just those modules that I want? Or, perhaps, is the equalizer available as a stand-alone application?

Code: Select all

sudo apt install pulseaudio-equalizer
Here is an article on how to use it https://linuxhint.com/install-pulseaudi ... inux-mint/

Thank you! It's awesome to have an equalizer available. Now, is there a way to get the equalizer to work without having to use the terminal to launch it? If I close the terminal, the equalizer closes too, and I can't find any way to access it otherwise. I'd like the equalizer to launch as one of the startup programs.

You can make a launcher on the Desktop (which can be added to the Menu and the Panel):

You can also add it to Startup Applications:
