Installed kde connect on phone and pc
Paired ok
Nothing visible on screen.
Menu has an item KDE Connect Indicator.
There is nothing else.

Either way it does not look too good for that program.
"kde connect" with the quotes. You will find a ton of people saying it does not work at all. You will also find topics like this where it does work to some degree:viewtopic.php?f=47&t=346466

KDE software usually works better on GTK based desktops with app software rather than more system level things like this. There's a GTK post of this called GSconnect. I'd try that, though I haven't used either.

Unable to locate GNOME Shell settings or version. Make sure it is installed and running.
Installed GS Connect with:
sudo apt install chrome-gnome-shell
