Hi,
I'm using a USB microphone. My headphones are connected directly into the microphone (I think it has better sound quality). The microphone has real-time monitoring (when you can hear yourself in real-time). To turn off the monitoring, I mute the microphone in the Sound Settings (left click the sound icon in the bottom right and click 'Sound Settings'). It says: "Volume: Muted".
After the computer wakes up after suspend, I can hear the real-time monitoring, but inside the sound settings it's still showing as muted. I have to unmute and mute again to make it actually muted.
This happens every time the computer wakes up after suspend. It doesn't happen when I boot up my computer from the turned off state.
This is what I use:
OS: Linux Mint 20.1 Cinnamon
Microphone: Samson C01U Pro (connected via USB)
Motherboard: x570 Gigabyte Gaming X
USB Microphone is unmuted each time after suspend
