Cannot change language pack in gimagereader in Linux Mint 20.x

When attempting to change language in the top toolbar, the option is greyed out as shown in the screenshot below:

After selecting the Manage languages settings option an error involving package-kit backend for managing system-wide tesseract language packs is not found as shown in the screenshot below:

Tried searching for solution online but haven't found a solution.

Start synaptic package manager and search for tesseract.
Select what package you need and you should be done.
