Hiyall,
Onward and upward!
It seems that the Throttlestop people have produced software for Linux: https://github.com/agoose77/throttlestop
It didn't work immediately however I turned off the laptop overnight and when I booted up this morning, it stayed at a balmy 37degC.
HOWEVER I went to the net and the temp increased as it does. I then came off the net and the temp went back to pre-complaint 55degC and hasn't budged. Can anyone shed light on this?
Conspiracy theory: could Firefox be somehow using my resources/bandwidth?
