testparm during samba install on LM 20.2 fails

Post by lacanadio »

I just upgraded a 19.3 box to 20.2. However, samba-common-bin configuration fails during samba install:

Code: Select all

Other possibly relevant data is below. Has anyone encountered this? Any advice, possible fixes, ideas welcomed. I'm at a loss and, unfortunately, need samba for my backuppc installation.

Thanks in advance,
Bob
