Hello
The other day I was trying to install java JRE or similar.
Now after what I did after following a tutorial online, it appears that my packages & cache in synaptic are not updating? After changing repositories it says "waiting for synaptic to exit' And it's stuck there.
Also, when I go into synaptic package manager and click "refresh" it shows me this?
GPG error: https://repo.skype.com/deb stable InRelease: The following signatures were invalid: EXPKEYSIG 1F3045A5DF7587C3 Skype Linux Client Repository <se-um@microsoft.com>The repository 'https://repo.skype.com/deb stable InRelease' is not signed.Updating from such a repository can't be done securely, and is therefore disabled by default.See apt-secure(8) manpage for repository creation and user configuration details.GPG error: http://dl.google.com/linux/earth/deb stable InRelease: The following signatures couldn't be verified because the public key is not available: NO_PUBKEY 78BD65473CB3BD13The repository 'http://dl.google.com/linux/earth/deb stable InRelease' is not signed.
Someone please help what I did wrong?

No, something still not right.
After running the mentions on those pages and running the following:
sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrad
I get this now

Re: Packages not updating? Did I screw up PPA or packages?
I believe that you need to go to Menu- Software Sources- Additional Repositories tab.
There (according to the error) you have multiple sources for Google Earth Pro.
I suggest that you disable all but 1, by unticking the sources, & try again..

Yes I removed all those software sources under "additional sources" and it still shows "updating cache" "waiting for synaptic to exit" and it sits there and does nothing?
also this
E:The repository 'cdrom://Linux Mint 20.2 _Uma_ - Release amd64 20210703 focal Release' does not have a Release file.
