Re: No applet in the panel
How are you trying to add them to the panel?
I use the Applets window to download and add them. I'll be happy to explain how, if that is the problem.

And then what happens?
I don't have 'add applet' there. I have other options, as shown below.

Re: No applet in the panel
Okay, I see that you're not great at answering questions, so I'll just tell you how I do it.
If I want to add an applet to the panel, I open the Applets window. It looks like this:
First, on the Manage tab (shown above), I check to see whether the applet I want is in the list.
If it is, I select it by clicking on it, and then I click the + sign at the bottom of the window.
The applet now appears in the panel.
If it's not, I go to the other tab, called Download. It looks like this:
I find the applet I want in the list, and click on the arrow that points down, to download it.
Then I go back to the Manage window, where it is now in the list.
Then, as before, I select it by clicking on it, and then I click the + sign at the bottom of the window.
The applet now appears in the panel.
Does that work for you?

Re: No applet in the panel
Great !
I got it. I've skipped the + in order to add the applet to the panel. Good explanation, it's working. Thanks a lot
