pocket and quickforms took over my firefox

Post by yonnie »

Namely, my homepage is to a Quickforms advertisement and Bing is my search engine and settings shows inference to "Pocket?" I'd never choose this crap in a hundred years. Something is wrong with my Mint! My homepage used to be Linuxmint and I've never used work-spaces in almost a decade and definitely not on this install ever.
Other weird activity too.
Video will launch but for an unknown reason they will disappear, yet the sound keeps playing. Kind of like the video is not on top? Discovered that the default work-space seems to be #4 instead of #1. If I tell the properties of the video to be on #1, all I see is the background which seems to be on #4, but I'm hearing the audio.
Video display size exceeds borders of TV, didn't used to.
Do I need to re-install this?
