Software Manager only worked once
New to Linux (Mint)
I was only able to install one program (Spotify) with Software Manager after I made a new account. (I read somewhere to make sure it was part of the sudo group)
I was not able to install anything from the first account.
The progress bar just goes back and forth, but nothing happens.
Please help.
Thanks.

What software are you trying to install?

Re: Software Manager only worked once
Is that the only software you tried to install or have you tried to install a few other things with no luck?
If so, is there an error message?
Does it ask you for root password?
What is your connection to the internet like?
Can you check your Software Sources Mirror in the Update Manager.

But do a Timeshift snapshot first.
